Bobby, i agree, something is happening with the XAU here...the 200-ema is starting to flatten and the 50-ema has turned up. a few good days and we may get a crossover - hasn't happened in ages...
i added to my South African mining stocks, they pay fat dividends and that makes the wait less frustrating. BUT: i don't like the chart of the POG itself...seems to be yet another bear flag that has formed, possibly in preparation for a final capitulation leg down. doesn't bother me though as long as it doesn't bother the XAU. also, the copper contract started a big rally in June from what looked like a bear flag as well, so who knows...

bb, yep been watching the XAU, too--it's walking the line, held a higher EMA support level today. But take a look at the weekly IIX chart, kinda scary--looks like internut time again...spread W with bullish stochastics and MACD buy signal? unreal Hey, maybe gold and nutz will rally the markets beyond...-g-
