<<Anyone who follows the
exploits of Janice Shell, marcos, and Jeffrey Mitchell (to name
but a few), knows that they are often encountering the same
lame investors who think they have found the way to get rich
quick.>>

And these people do it gratis! They have my deepest respect!

Randy,
Amen!!!

Some seem to be under the impression that SI didn't already have one of the finest group of watchdogs that could be found in the FBNA gang. And they are funnier than hell too!!!

Great post Randy! That doesn't just apply to the market. There are some Y2K doomers that have very large followings and their flock has either moved to the boonies, purchased generators, stocked up on large amounts of fuel, food and weapons because of scare tactics regarding Y2K.

Everyone should learn as much about ANY situation, business, whatever, and then make an educated decision based upon what they learned.

Be prepared for some great sales in the new year, as new generator sales will be in a bear market as used ones will be everywhere. Same with these places that sell freeze dried food, business is going to be slow next year.

In my opinion.

"it is quite difficult, in fact, to cheat an honest man(woman). A greedy one or a lazy one is an easy mark"

add to that list of easy marks 'a distrustful person'. that's right. con men and crooks do some of their best work with people who do not trust others. sound odd? it's not. because once the distrustful person "falls" or goes for the con, he or she is in with both feet, signed , sealed and delivered. they become completely blind to the ruse, where the trusting soul would begin to pick up signs of something being out of sorts. yes, the man who does not trust others can be taken. had bad as it were.

:)

There is nothing 'get rich quick' about Anthony's private site.

" The rest of us can only wonder why someone with as much capital as is necessary to offset the charge against trading profits by such expensive advice would feel it necessary to pay for it."

I suppose you will always wonder, but you might ask yourself why most of the best and brightest minds on SI have chosen to pay that fee. It is not a herd of sheep waiting for a word from the shepherd. Yesterday Tony wasn't there, and it was simply business as usual. We completely deconstructed AMPnD and handed it to Tony on his return this morning. It sure didn't seem like a room filled with lost sheep to me.

It is interesting that some folks who 'do it all themselves' adopt an attitude of superiority over those who find working in a cooperative environment. It is actually absurd to think that one can do it without other people. We are all dependant on interactions with other people.

It is a fact that there is very little turnover on Tony's site. I have not heard of anyone who has left because of the ~90% success rate in our trades.

I think you might find Janice Shell has a different opinion of Tony than you seem to present. I believe he helped her out with her trouble with HITT, despite the fact that she's not a member of his site.

You can attempt to degrade Tony by calling him a 'messiah', but I think the word you are looking for is 'mentor'. Perhaps you are such a good and experienced trader that the help of someone who is more experienced is unneeded. Well, more power to you. You and your friends can call me a sheep, lemming, follower, acolyte, or any other derogatory name you wish. While it is offensive, it is more importantly completely inaccurate. Although I know a thing or two about the market, I am learning. I learned a lot on SI before it became the junk site it is today. But I have found a new site that has taught me a considerable amount about the market. If the standard question comes up concerning why I don't just leave if I don't like SI, a little investigation will discover that I have all but quit posting here. I still read these threads in the hope of coming up with a good suggestion. But the signal to noise ratio may preclude even that if it gets much worse.

I would highly recommend that anyone who isn't Warren Buffet in drag to take the time to visit anthonypacific.com. Oh, BTW, while I think the site is cheap at twice the price, don't count on getting a slot just because you decide to pay. It isn't open to everyone, and there is a background investigation performed on all prospective members. One prominent SI member was deleted because he supplied false information. But god bless you if you truly can do it without the help of others.

Regards,

Barb
