Here's another treatment of "When Neitzsche Wept". sancho.ac.hmc.edu:8001/Humanities/Nietzsche/Yalom.htm

I found another site referenced in the search engines that had a bunch of reviews from different major papers in 1992, but that site is currently under construction. (http://www.max.com)

After reading the reviews that I have so far, I think JCVD may not be exactly right for the part. (Any part in the book.)

Instead of Lou Salome being played by Jennifer Donnelly in "When Nietzsche Wept," I believe, Kari Wuhrer is sexy enough and definitely assertive enough to play the part of Lou Salome.

Lois Duncan was right about how the story in book is changed once the rights are sold. Another good example of this is MVEE's version of When Nietzsche Wept.

The book was about (see post 4543)a philosopher who was considering suicide. The MVEE twist will change the philosopher into a "Faith Healer" who want to kill himself. The movie may turn out to be more interesting than the book.
