My point was that just because something is law does not mean that it just. I think it is unjust to send a 20 year old to prison for drug use. I think a law is unjust and unrealistic when it causes something like 60% of populace to break it at some point (usually young adulthood) . I can not see any benefit in paying the "tuition" for Prison (it cost more to keep someone in prison than to send them to Harvard ) for otherwise responsible drug offenders. The lesson these young people will be "taught" at the hands of violent offenders can not be one that will further them in life or make them better citizens.

One question , what did the Bushes have to say about the scandalous hazing incident at Yale involving GW ?
