Standing away from wireless phone business may not be a good idea for WCOM. The price war among all the telecoms may hurt anybody in the phone business including those start up wireless phone players. However, the business Internet providers won't be hurt as much as phone companies. Stick on the backbone of Internet will make WCOM the strongest position in all Internet players. Actually, the acquisition of CAI Wireless in earlier this year has brought WCOM an opportunity to deployment of wireless Internet in the future.
