Peppe, there are enough boys from LU thread to question
CSCO carrier solution on CSCO thread.
I never questioned CSCO enterprise solutions, specially those which deliver good service.
I was as mad on NN as many others when they did not deliver
on operation etc.
But you can not say NN promised such and such solution, announced contract and 12 months after announcement nothing is done.
In CSCO case such approach is very typical.
For this reason they have only 1% of big carrier market.
Even old pipe (Stratacom) at ATT is drying up.
Check out who else is doing FR over ATM at CSCO account!!!
I am talking about new networks not old one, which have to be serviced.
When CSCO aquired ATM-related company around July, IP/ATM was the only way to go (j.Chambers). After spending 7 bil. on small company ATM is dead (J.chambers).

Even B.Clinton can not keep up witch J.Chambers in changing his mind.J.Chambers has not vision. He basically is trying to look at trend and follow up.
The question is for how long, specially that some competitors are not going to make mistake of the past, to help CSCO to achived his goals

Once CSCO will deliver good carrier platform, which works well I will stop bashing.
For example - LMDS.
One contract, not delivered yet in Australia, one unsuccessful attempt to still NN customer, and lots of talking by Listwin about great CSCO LMDS solution.
In meantime NN has over US 1 billion in contracts and more to come.

Regards
Zbyslaw

The Cisco bashing is getting a little whacky on this thread.

Peppe, I gave up trying to contribute to this thread quite a while back, but, can't resist. This CSCO obsession that so many on this thread have is both funny and pathetic. It doesn't seem like too many people on here get the basic idea...company's are in business to make money, grow, make more money, grow more...etc. CSCO has an incredible track record for doing that. Sadly, NN has just the opposite record.

It's almost like NN has a "fan" base like a baseball team, or something. People who are going to root for the company come hell or high water and trash the competition no matter what the reality is.

In this case its like a Montreal Expos fan trashing the Yankees...
