Hi Frozen; I'm still thinking the Jury is still out on what Waco
will turn out to prove at least for me, but for the most I agree
with you.

And another thing, while I'm on the subject of a government gone mad: aren't we all glad they have decided to spend 6-8 million dollars arresting and prosecuting Kathleen Soliah, former SLA member, who has been living a quiet normal suburban life for the last 25 years. We can all rest easier knowing her tupperware parties are over.

You see the government must simply act as a machine and enforce the rules without interference of common sense or intelligence. And with that machine-like mentality, government also has decided to enter into parenting more and more personal aspects of our lives. Rather than spanking though they've decided on grounding us (lockup).

<< If there is one thing waco proved it's the futility of hoping guns will protect us from a government gone mad. >>

I agree with your statement about guns, but how has Waco proved this?

WACO showed that our government is capable of making mistakes. The initial raid at WACO was a mistake. We needed the government to protect us from the wacos at Waco, but they messed it up, and as a result some of our best ATF agents were murdered and the Waco wackos burned their own children, proving how dangerous David Koresh and his henchmen were.

Fortunately the ATF and the FBI prevented the Koresh and his potential terrorists from causing a catastrophy against other innocent people somewhere else. Unfortunately we weren't able to rescue the children from Koresh's murderous hands.
