Dale Baker,

Yesterdays gift: AMPD.

Today's gift: Noise. "NOIZ", up some 200%. Everything "wireless", on a tear. Ready to lay out a few?

BDE-<its ability to attract naive "investors">

It will be interesting to see how BDE longs spin this. Over on the Yahoo thread they are still salivating over the prospects of revenue from the AuctionChannel, despite the repeated assertions in print, including this most recent S-3, that the AuctionChannel will not make a profit for "at least 12 months".

I had to laugh at the reference in their list of risks associated with investing in BDE to their difficulty with generating revenues. They say they had a problem with getting their software titles on the market too late for the Christmas season. That's the 1997 Christmas season. Then they say they had the same trouble again with the 1998 season. Did they take back all their titles in January 1998? The yahoos on Yahoo are excited about this season but I suspect the company will be making the same excuse for why they just can't seem to sell their software in yet another Christmas season.
