Well - an interesting day ! First of all I haven't received the answers from HK HO yet on the dismissal case reaction. Sure I got questions but let's understand somethings:
1)I don't believe many of us longs got invested in Zi because of the possible positive outcome of the lawsuit.
2)Secondly I'm not a lawyer but if Zi's case was dismissed because Tegic request for dismissal was based on their claim that their patent did not infringe on Zi's then how the hell will they be able to apply a lawsuit on Zi (as suggested in PR)and claim now that Zi is infringing - rubbish !
3)I'm sad to see that our morning 10% increase was overshadowed by this news but the tree was shaken.
3)Shorts had their heyday ? - or did they - even with this kind of PR that they love Zi did not make millionaires of the shorts. I believe the shorts will might have their heyday somday - not today but when the stock soars bigtime again and will correct itself and consolidate. Otherwise this in my opinion is still a long play.
4) By the way - I've heard and am waiting for confirmation that Vp Frank Chen has to spend another week in HK. (He's the guy who was an investment banker now in charge of IR at ZI ...hmmmmmm!!!!)
When I get a call for the answers I'm looking for I will post info on board ASAP.
Long as Always.

I was a little skeptic about the lawsuit being dropped w/o going to full trial. But after thinking on the reasons, I have to agree with your latest thinking. It's too insignificant for them at this point since they have locked up with the Chinese ministries and other major players in cell phone and set-top boxes.

Like I said earlier, this case is starting to look like MS-DOS and DR-DOS many years ago. Who has major backing and power will win the race. That's Zi for sure.

ps: picked up 5K more 7 1/2.
