I haven't made any changes to my holdings since the tracking stocks went live, so the loss of value on the DSS front hurts a bit more than the gains in HDD help. But it does appear that after a slow start, HDD has some support in the market. Check out the market cap- 3 billion for DSS, 768 million for HDD. I still have some concerns about DLT vs DDS4 and other technologies going forward, though clearly not an informed opinion. Tape was Quantum's saving grace during the recent downturn- let's hope they continue to execute well on that front.
