yeah..sounds like a good topic. I think a more detailed release to the stockholders is in order. I think that many of use are confused and, frankly, feel a little bit betrayed. This whole ArtAuction thing came out of the middle of NOWHERE with no warning whatsoever..I still believe in the PERFECT stuff (but I'm still pretty pissed at ECNC's anti-macintosh attitude regarding the terminal that attaches to your computer).

I hope our australian 'gorrila' doesn't turn into a chimp. I've been in contact a lot with Mr. Hollen and have given him a lot of advice and direction regarding marketing, Microsoft co-op contacts, etc... (sure wish some 144 would show up in MY mailbox :>)....)

anyway..not dumping any shares just yet :>0

No direct pun on eSafe (It can now be our safety net, too) - it also now becomes more useful than ever. Not only is it a legal vehicle to test State taxation, it will be a great revenue producer in and of itself. In addition, it is our safety net in the sense that if there is a total crackdown on Internet gaming, we have a safe ally in a legal country: Australia. The whole picture truly is coming into focus.

Hi Jorjenzak,

I consider you our legal guru on the SI thread. As such, what is your opinion of the difference between a "joint venture" and a "strategic alliance"?

To me, a joint venture is a new legal corporation set up by two or more entities to run a new business and to share in a profit generated by the new company. Both companies would have representatives on the board of the new company. The profit would be split between the entities on the same basis as the ownership in the joint venture. On the other hand, a strategic alliance is a hand shake (agreement) that two entities will work together because each entity can benefit the other. I don't see this as a legal agreement.

What is your definition of these two concepts.

TIA
