Without looking back at previous posts, I remember Sony priced at $499. Certainly, higher than $300. My origonal thought was that with games consoles now priced well under $200, the Sony PSII price would be a hard sell to gamers. A lot of bells and whistles to go along with the great graphics -- not your kids game box anymore. More like a game console that can almost be a PC.

They are currently talking about $370 in Japan but they were sure to mention that this doesn't necessarily mean that's what the US price will be. I figure we get a $299 launch. Same as PSX I launch price.
