Frank, well put!

An internet lifecycle will have passed in the time it takes ATT to build and coordinate 26 data centers. Since growth through acquisition wins internet races, ATT's announcement all but placed a takeover target on EXDS's front lawn. How long will it take a WCOM, or QWST, or a GBLX to come a buying?

Yes, I got a good chuckle from the AT&T announcement and the unwarranted discount to EXDS stock price that probably resulted from it. AT&T has such a great grasp of the Internet that their Worldnet "technical" support call center won't even accept your call if you are using Windows NT. It's going to take T three years to figure out what to do with its cable acquisitions, and assemble these offerings in a form that makes sense to people. Like the INTC announcement earlier this year, and the QWST announcements (and the announcements from virtually everyone with a piece of cable, a computer and a room with a padlock that they'll be entering the web hosting business) I see this as a great validation of the EXDS business and operational model, and an indication that we are in the right place at the right time with stock in a company which is the market leader in a sector which is being lusted after by every telecomm company on the planet.
