Hey folks, just wanted to mention that I bought a laptop this weekend and bought a......TOSHIBA. Why may you ask? Well, in a word P R I C E. Comparable Dell system would cost me $1,000 more. Does this concern anyone out there?

Just asking,
JH

p.s. still have 4 digit share Dell holding.

"Anyone else getting frustrated?"

not much has changed with Dell's price action over the past two years. gaps up, gaps down, trade up then down on good news. trade sideways while the dow booms, boom while the dow sucks. trade up when MD sells. trade down when analysts put "strong buy" on stock.

just a bunch of horny traders looking for another stock to screw

>>I'm getting tired of watching so many techs hitting new highs, and DELL keeps chopping around in a 46-49 channel. Fundamentals may be strong, but until we break out of this technical range, it will be more entertaining to watch paint dry..<<

TRCM, This is a frustrating problem indeed and is causing many to jump ship. I recall a time when Dell would have strong advances on days when the entire Dow and Nasdaq were down. When was the last time that we saw Dell perform like that?? We see Apple and Gateway on a roll but what the heck is wrong with Dell? Have not been able to break through 50 since February.

Re: Looks like another sell program is coming in, maybe DELL will give up a little more ground before the close

TRCM,
I guess that it just looks like a short term buying opportunity for some of us. I just picked up 6 contracts (small potatoes to many readers on the thread) of Jan 2002 50 calls.
