Betty, I'm sorry about your cat. I had a dog that had hip surgery. In his case, recovery took a year and left him mental. I hope your case is less invasive.

Hey there...on the brighter side, you know where the problem is now.

Makes sense that if he fell onto a hard surface>>his hips would absorb the impact...and older cats must have less tensile strength in there bone tissue-just like us. Way to be Persistent!

If you have a good orth vet/[anesthesiologist is IMPORTANT], Milo shouldn't be extremely traumatized.

-but that's GREAT that it wasn't a CNS injury.

How will you procede? What does the surgery entail?
