Tench,

Re: "Coppermine"

There has been a great deal of "confusion and FUD" regarding Coppermine.

Does it have a 64K L1 or is it still 32K.

What are your expectations on per Mhz performance improvement over PIII for Coppermine on a clk by clk basis.

Some folks are at ZERO and some are anticipating Athlon like improvements.......comments please.

Regards,

Kash

Tench,

<only 16 GByte>

But the slides point out this is based on 128 MBit memory.

Slide 39:
Memory Size = up ot 4GByte (128 Mbit technology)

Each 21364 shows 2 banks, would that make it? In other words, can one bank be 4 Gig?

I'm not up on memory at all.

Yes, somewhere out at the Samsung site 288 is plastered.
Now I know why I see 144 and 288 .. ECC , thanks.
