Thank you for your civil response. I'll return the favor. To paraphrase a new aquaintance: "If you're gonna' make God over to suit yourself, why believe at all?" This is where my difficulty is. I can't understand people who profess to be Christians (or any other type of believers) that don't follow the rules. I consciously accept that if I am incorrect in my lack of faith or belief, it's going to get real warm for a long time. I made (and I guess make every day) that choice. For me it has to be real, if it ain't real, it ain't real. and BTW, on my wall hangs a framed birth certificate, signed by the Governor of Texas attesting that I am a Native. If Houston ain't beautiful to you, why are you still here?
