Suzanne,
I wish I could keep your optimistic attitude about this company, but the powers that be make it harder and harder for me to stay optimistic. I'm still waiting for a response from PH regarding MyPhotoCard, but I don't expect to get one.
I'm not going anywhere (hell, I'm only down 83% at this point!) but I sure would like to see some REAL signs that things are starting to happen.
Many people have mentioned that they have checked with their local schools to see if they are involved in the music card fundraiser and so far not one school has been mentioned on these threads. I have many friends that work in the local school district and none of them have heard of it either. If we could find ONE school that is doing it I'd feel a lot better!
I don't know exactly what is going on down in St. Pete and frankly I'm getting to the point where I just don't even care anymore!

>>I strongly agree with johngmack when he says the MusicCard is not an impulse buy in front of the supermarket. It costs too much, and it is too complicated to explain. <<

I might disagree with you on this one. It might take the right kind of parent to help, but I bet I could set up a table at Sam's Club with my kids and sell the card. We would just shout out to people saying, discount CD music cards buy them here, help our Orlando Jr. High band. We would have some good music playing in the background. Then again some people could not sell water in the desert. Hey I wonder if RG would send me some cards to test market in Orlando.

Oh Baldy, so far so good with Floyd in our town, but thousands moved into shelters.

Hi Suzanne, excellent post !!

<<School fundraising is a multi-multi-million dollar business.>>

<< Motivation comes from teachers, peer pressure, prizes, trips, activities, band uniforms, music instruments, etc. FACT: TSIG is not inventing school fundraising; they are jumping on board a runaway train.>>

<<The MusicCard was chosen from many options by Lifetime Learning to be one of their four fundraising choices.>>

Don't forget the My PhotoCard and Lifetime Learning. :~)

fast.quote.com

"In the My PhotoCard program, Lifetime Learning will create, produce and distribute fundraising kits for implementation at more than 48,510 elementary schools nationwide. In the My MusicCard program, Lifetime Learning will generate and distribute fund-raising kits to more than 53,725 middle and senior high schools. Both programs are exclusive and will be available to 50,000,000 students.

Regards,

Phil
