Rande,

Speaking of DVD's, do you have any information whether Disney will be releasing their movie catalogue in DVD in time for XMAS?

I've had a DVD player for over two years, I compare the difference between DVD and Video with that of 56K access compared to my cable modem (Cox@Home, love it). Problem now with DVD is there is still a limited selection of good titles and no Disney movies. When/if DVDs replace VCR's Disney can re-sell their whole movie library again.

Check out a five year chart of Disney, it usually seems to do well going into XMAS. This year they will have the added benefit of a strong internet presence that should generate strong XMAS business, the Ovitz/Katzneberg disasters are resolved with punishment rendered, great box office with current Sixth Sense and Toy Story II on the way, not to mention it is trading near a two year low. Disney is nearly half the market cap of AOL...that is wrong.

Maybe I'm missing something, but the January 32.5 calls trading at less than 1 look like a good play to me. I bought them at 1 1/2 so you can imagine how good they look at 7/8. <g>

DIS reminds me of TWX back in the fall of '96, it didn't move for two years, then more than quadrupled in the next three years.

If you have any opinions on Disney I'd love to hear them.

TIA
