As I see it, it's kind of like there are only so many rights to go around. The larger the population the fewer rights go to each individual. - Not really but it seems that way.

Matter of opinion I guess. While the conservatives generally pay lip service to the Bill of Rights (a good thing imo!) they tend to be Draconian with a person's right to her own damn body. The abortion issue is scorched earth on both sides, and the conservatives with their insane puritanical war on drugs aren't winning any points with me.
I despise the liberals for being barely-concealed socialists, and I despise the conservatives for being barely-concealed Puritans. Both are enemies of freedom. But obviously this is jmo.
