I would only add that I would love to see INTC, the most advanced and technically sophisticated semi manu in the world, produce Q ASIC's if they picked partners.

asic developmont is so DIFFICULT....


My ASIC development friends tell me that the CDMA ASIC is particularly difficult to develop because of the number of subsystems that need to be tested and developed to work in concert. Understand that it requires a team of at least 50 engineers.

Perhaps Engineer or Clark can confirm this.
