And I respect your opinion. If you think you have the energy, go for it! I'm just saying I wouldn't want to be dealing with it that late in life. Even in my forties, that would make me near or into my sixties when they reached the troublesome teen years. I'd probably have a heart attack!

The choice between career and family does not exist. Families need money, which comes from careers. Even the few people whose spouses earn enough by themselves to provide all that they want for their children have no assurance that their spouses will stick around.

Life is a balancing act.
