They are understandings Go re-read the posts, this is exactly what I have been saying. What you are confusing is the set of facts collectively known as evolution. These are the fossils and DNA chains which show that life on earth in the distant past is different from life of earth today. I can't help it if you insist to think that evolution is more than it is. The end point and understanding is Darwin's theory of Natural Selection and the later modifications. It is through the theory that we can tell why life changed over time. The theory of how and why is much more interesting than the fact that old lifeforms looked different. Darwin's theory is not evolution! Evolution is the accumulated evidence that life has modified (evolved). TP
