Hi Suzanne - after taking a closer look at Remit website and a non-profit entity that uses them (i.e. Habitat for Humanity), I would have to reverse myself and agree with you. remit.net designjk.com (click on the Remit link) TSIG and Remit are not doing the same thing although they do have a target market in common (not to mention some former TSIG management)- i.e. non-profit fundraising. Remit offers a secure payment product that allows non-profits to accept fundraising donations online by creating a link to a Remit secure server to handle the transaction. The goal seems to be helping the fundraising entity to raise more money faster by: a) "Begin accepting donations and payments online within minutes" b)"Ensure that all donations are safe and secure" c) "Monitor donation activity with customized reports of all donor transactions" d) "Customize a confirmation page and e-mail that is viewed by all donors" What Remit does not do however is provide a popular product for the fundraising entity to sell. This is what TSIG does for - e.g. americasathletes.org which is done online or by telephone and in a secure manner.
