I think when you're talking Autodesk you're talking pure CAD. Visio has a CAD product, but it's not their primary business. I agree that Autodesk has much higher CAD market share. Autodesk and Visio have some overlap, but they are each leaders in different areas.

Visio is by anyone that has a need to draw complex graphics and diagrams. As one example, if your designing a building you buy CAD, if you're designing a manufacturing process you buy Visio. Most companies have many uses for this and have many Visio users. It is the clear leader in this area. They have a relatively new product I like that will diagram your network just by being plugged in to it.

BTW it's Visio not Vision.
