You know, Barry, I used to believe as you do about this thread. I thought it was full of a bunch of conspiracy theorists overreacting to a hasty and botched job, but the more I hear, the more scared I am of this trend in government "intervention" and the more I agree with these "conspiracy theorists", even though I still view Koresh as a far less than admirable man. Maybe you should think of questioning what happened at Waco too. This goes well beyond any 911 analogy. This is like saying the police decide that you are a 911 and run in, guns blazing.

Another thing she was wrong about. I have never, and will never, defend Koresh,but don't call him a religious nut.He was a nut that used religion as his ploy to sway peoples' minds. He was no more religious than the man in the moon but,while he stockpiled weapons,there is no evidence that he ever killed any one. Those children were killed by unnecessary actions taken by the federal agents. There has never been any solid evidence the the gasoline was poured until the end appeared near. I most certainly do not condone his actions but the parents of those children could have walked out with their children at any time or just shooed them out the door. Why didn't they do that?? Were they so brainwashed that they lost their love for their children?? The answers to those questions,literally,went up in smoke from a fire started by federal agents...TD
