hi stan, why is the naz an entirely different situation... the chart looks somewhat similar... the naz also not holding it's trendline... although the trendline is "steeper"?

can you explain a bit further??

Chart from this afternoon when the Dow was breaking support followed by chart at close as it rallied to hold trendline support on a closing basis. Doesn't mean it will continue to hold...but it has been the recent pattern to do so.

So, it's not the most interesting thing I ever saw <g>...worthy of note however.

As I said earlier, the key for most of us short term, is whether the Naz decides to test it's trendline support...it's got significantly farther to drop if it does.
