I'm gonna put on the old Let's Pretend cap and run with this premise - as I understand it of course. OK, so let's posit that feti have souls and they go straight to heaven if they're scraped. But there's somebody doing the scraping, and the total spiritual credit the fetus gets is not as much as the spiritual debit incurred by the fellow doing the scraping. Integrated over living souls, you have a net debit. House takes a percentage. So they go to heaven, but at an overall price. How's that work for you? :-)
