NW,

Hope you and yours are WELL!
Stay dry, some of the best times in life are
without the luxuries that we have come to enjoy....

NW: Hope U R OK. RIght now all of the Crumb Creek water basin south of Springton Reservoir -- the greater part of Delaware County -- has been alerted that there is a burgeoning hole in the dam holding back the water and engineers have been unable to plug it with 50 tons of cement. There are news reports coming in over radio and television that evacuations have begun in Marple with more TK. Marple police are urging the evacuation of southern Delaware County -- hundreds of thousands of people. Delaware COuntry emergency management officials, however, say there is no immediate danger that the dam will collapse. Nick Debenedictus, prez of Phila Suburban Water, says the problem is in the spillway. Much confusion. We're staying put. Thank goodness we've stocked up Der ButtBunker!!! There gonna have to come in and get me! (Swarthmore is supposedly on this evacuation list, but we haven't heard a thing here directly, altho friends have been calling us with "news.") M2
