M2,
The electric is back after 33 hours. I missed all the news during the storm. I had some empty flower pots on the deck. They were filled to overflowing by the rain. I think we had 10 to 12 inches here. I'm on top of Valley Forge Mountain so I didn't flood. However, at one point we had 2 inches of water rolling down the enterence to my driveway. The street had even more roaring down it. Several people on my street had their basements flood badly. (Mine had about a pint of water and that's all.) We did lose the food in the freezer and some in the refrigerator. Glad I called the wife and told her to make tracks for home. Some people who stayed were tapped until 9 or 10 last night. Also a big tree fell across our street. Firemen cut a path through it last night. Several other trees down also but nobodies house was hit. The Dam in Phoenixville overflowed and route 23 was closed down as a result.

I just saw some of the flood news on channel 10. It looked like Delaware County got hit real bad. Hope you home is high and dry. I feel bad for those who lost their homes. I didn't see anything about a dam. A big hole in any dam is not good with 10 inches of rain falling.

Hope you are OK and just without electric service. Let us know how you are doing.
