News Medical Resorts International Inc. EDMONTON, Sept. 16 /CNW/ - Medical Resorts International Inc. wishes to clarify certain matters as a result of information and rumors being circulated within the market place concerning a listing on the OTC-BB. To become listed in the United States a foreign Company must first file a form 20F registration with the Security and Exchange Commission before an application can be made to NASD for a OTC-BB listing. In January 1998, the Company retained National Capital LLC of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to file an OTC-BB listing which was subsequently downgraded to the Pink Sheets listing as a result of U.S. regulatory changes. The Company has not as yet filed a 20FR with the SEC and therefore no application has been made for the OTC-BB listing. Medical Resorts International Inc. regrets if the Company has inadvertently indicated a listing was pending. As of August 30, 1999 Medical Resorts International Inc. began to post electronically in the United States on the Pink Sheets. It is possible that investors have assumed that the Company waiting for the NQB to become electronically quoted was a listing on the OTC-BB. This is not a OTC-BB listing. The issued and outstanding shares in the Company are 32,928,592. Medical Resorts International Inc. trades on the Canadian Dealing Network (CDN) Toronto under the symbol ''MDRE'' and in the United States on the NQB Pink Sheets under the symbol ''MRINF''. -0- 09/16/1999
