What is going on with AOL? It is obvious that AOL is the strongest among the internet companies. However, almost all of them have had a decent bounce in the last few weeks except AOL. Can anybody explain this? Why people buy AMZN stock rather than AOL if they want to invest in the internet? What Steve Case is doing these days?

In at $171? There is a lesson to be learned.

This is what we refer to as a textbook hate buy. It is a very unfortunate occurrence. When the investor can no longer stand by and watch the blinding rally, and is the last one to get on board, the sign of the top has arrived. With experience, you will learn to recognize this pattern, and take proper advantage of it.

5 yeears is an extremely long time horizon in internet time. We do not feel that any stocks is a safe hold for such a long time horizon. I would not be holding AOL in 5 years.
