Dave,

an initial run on the stock before a news release is caused by insider buying. the run after a news release is caused by people like us who buy on the news and usually overpay. if there is something else like you are speculating, the market will hold those gains and perhaps move slowly higher. if not, the stock price will drift back. we'll see in the next few days. don't forget that the market sold off sharply and was due for a nice bounce specially if accompanied with a positive development like we had this morning.

we can criticize the management all we want but at least they are actively trying to find something. discoveries are not made every day. it takes alot of luck to go with the sweat. speculation should keep the price of the stock from plunging anymore. it buys us some time but i'm really worried about our cash position.

Q1. Does anybody know the cash position of the company?
Q2. Does anybody know anything about the new property?

by the way, i'm tired of reading over and over that the deal killed cofradia and not the results. if we had substantial results, the market would have run up no matter what price we paid, don't you worry. in fact if the deal had killed the property before we started drilling then the share price wouldn't have crashed like it did after the so called unimportant results were published.

your thoughts,

Nexus
