jmac RE the Ericsson World Phone.... #1 Son purchased it in a store in Massachusetts.. It sold for $300. I Suggest you check out the web site omnipoint.com ...... On the left side of that page -- click on "coverage & travel" There you can link to info for traveling overseas & phone rentals, for customers or non-customers. The main Omnipoint phone number is 1-888-RU4-OMNI (from the web site) Also I thought that Western Wireless cellularonewest.com would be a possibility but I can see no Ericsson phones on that site. ... I did think that Western Wireless was a GSM service provider. Do you know ?? Best, Mardy.
