My sad tale of MU was one of complete confidence buying on the way down at 70,55,45 before being vanquished around 37. My recollection was that it went down to 18 and has taken about 3 years to return to slightly less than my initial purchase price had I held on. We on the thread succumbed to some mass disbelief that DRAM pricing could drop as much as they did. And throughout MUs decline the analysts failed to consider that possibility in a realistic way and were very slow to drop their estimates and ratings. Earnings estimates may not be as visible as they used to be. Hopefully NITE's will turn out to be more visible than Micron's were.
