Bill Ounce:"I repeat, science can say nothing about God." That exactly proves my point: science can say nothing about the non-existance of God , a point that Carl Sagan and the gravediggers have been trying to shove down mush skulls for decades. Americans across the plins are now saying : enough is enough. Go back to grave diggin' and lay off our kids. PS BTW I do not want to hear THE OPINION of the scientific community. ALL I want form the scientific community ARE FACTS Write it down Bill: Facts spelled F A C T S No theories; No opinions; no suppositions. Just the facts. If you don't have the facts, get them and then come and talk to me. this is why I haven't opened an evolution book in years: I have zero interest in a litany of morphological descriptions describing changes in beings over time that prove nothing other than that those beings changed over time TAMessage #716 from Bill Ounce at Sep 17 1999 12:43PM I repeat, science can say nothing about God. You can not use Science to prove or disprove God's existence. if you could, then God could be incorporated into Science. For example, you can not use "then a miracle occured" in a mathematical proof trying to prove something like a^2 + b^2 = c^2. Perhaps God did make things that way, and that is wonderfully miraculous, but it's not part of Math or Science. Your understanding of Evolution and Science is faulty. Please read up on the FAQs so you have some idea of the the opinion of the scientific community really is. You can start at talkorigins.org You seem to believe that the existence of miracles/paranormal means that Science can say things about God, or prove your perception of God is correct. But this gets really complicated in a hurry. Catholics do a great job of recording strange things happening. I chatted with a Muslim and he said they experience miracles as well. An acquaintence from India say that Hindus experience miracles too. Miracles occuring just mean that Science can not explain everything. Some fundies resolve this by saying that deamons produce all the non-Christian miracles, but how can you prove this in a scientific manner? But non-christians say similar things about Christian miracles. It's becomes a real mess. Think about it.
