Proof that Tuncia is intentionally ignorant

this is why I haven't opened an evolution book in years: I have zero interest in a litany of morphological descriptions describing changes in beings over time that prove nothing other than that those beings changed over time

How can you argue about something when you have zero interest in learning what it is about?

That exactly proves my point: science can say nothing about the non-existance of God, a point that Carl Sagan and the gravediggers have been trying to shove down mush skulls for decades.

Ad hominem attack (look it up in the dictionary) All this proves is that you are unable to properly use login in your arguments. Your point is not proven. My point is that Evolution can say nothing about God. Athiests who want to abuse it to disprove God are idiots. Theists who want to abuse it to prove God are equally idiots. People who argue about evolution without wanting to learn about what it really is are also idiots.

ALL I want form the scientific community ARE FACTS
From you postings on this forum, the only thing of most certainty is that you have no clue what you are talking about. This is a fact based upon your silly statements about medicine, abuse of logic and intentional ignorance of topics you wish to discuss.

Tunica,
You are avoiding the anti-biotic resistance issue, a clear example of natural selection. You should also avoid the FACT that animal research has a lot to do with medicine. Why does research done on mice, rats, monkeys et al. lead to better treatments and drugs for HUMANS? Could it be because we, mice, rats, monkeys and humans, are all related?

By the way, my doctor, dentist, friends who are nurses, all continue to read books and articles about evolution and other aspects of science because, even though they have the piece of paper that allows them to practice their chosen profession, they enjoy and even LOVE the study of science. Some of them still go to church too.

Finally, if you are so sure that the theories explaining evolution are wrong, come up with another theory that covers the evidence and let us test it. Every Creationist theory I have seen has either been untestable, i.e. God created the fossils and set the Carbon 14 ratios so they would appear ancient, or fail when tested against the evidence.

You will never ever get FACTS from the scientific community because we cannot even prove our own existence. Kick a rock. Was the rock really there? Was your foot really there? That intense pain you're feeling ... real or illusory? Prove your answers.

It gets pretty difficult, doesn't it?

Thus I believe (and state my belief here that) your insistence on FACTS is disingenuous. I'd be all ears if you could show me a single incontrovertible FACT about the nature of an extramundane higher power ... God, if you will.

Ceterum censeo Carl Sagan is not promoting a belief structure. Up to his dying day he maintained that anyone was free to prove him wrong on the mudhole theory and the rest of it. I'd like to see Jerry Falwell show the same open-mindedness.

That exactly, is why evolution is a fact, and natural selection is a theory.
