I don't own one either. I'll probably buy a DVD player for my parents this Christmas. For myself--maybe early next year. I keep thinking I should wait until it records so I can chuck my VCR at the same time, but I know that's still some time away...

Samsung Model 905 DVD Player; purchased November, 1997 Also have Creative PC DVD Dxr 2 in my desk top PC; purchased January, 1998. Really enjoy both of them.
