pmfji, but allow me to offer a few observations on your post. You state that,

if you own as many shares of QCOM as I do, you will have safety concerns as I have.

I'd wager a number of folks on this thread own as many shares as you, gc, but they treat their concerns for safety by understanding both the fundamentals of the Q and the reasons for its unavoidable volatility.

>> I will look at my chart again this weekend.... just ride the market up since the uptrend will continue.

Q's recent behavior has been to move contrary to the markets, with today being a delightful exception <g>. I think you might do well to delve deeper.

Prosperous investing,
FranQ

GC and JohnG, how much trouble do you expect QCOM to have in working thru the 200 level?

interested in your perspective?
I think a couple minor rebuffs
may find some temporary resistance at 193 and 198, more so at 193 since it marked a close two weeks ago

my momentum swing target is 225
real simple rationale that has come thru in a few past situations
195 to 165 back up to 225
it could go higher

what do you think?
