Nobody claims it happens in one step. I've seen a Lamborghini (I could buy one if I didn't have different priorities). It's made of atoms and they have been rearranged, a lot!. It's just a matter of how many steps were required and the amount of time. In the case of the Lamborghini I saw, it took some 20 billion years for everything to come together just right.
