HiTech, I have both QQQ & UOPIX on my watch list. I update these lists once a week. Without looking back I believe that QQQ has only triggered one sell. UOPIX on the other hand has a mixed bag of both buys and sells. Ultimately only you can decide where to place your money.

I would consider going with UOPIX simply because you get to play in the sand trap with some very astute AIMers (Tom, Bernie & Kathryn). You can't put a value on their experience, integrity or advice.

But as my Father (PotatoHead) says, "Just because you don't like a Ford doesn't mean you have to buy a Chevy". There are many Vehicles out there. One of my favorites is the one that JZGalt turned us on to. Kevin Landis and his First Hand Funds. I have purchased two of these in my wife's IRA account. Take a peek.

Also Tom has done a lot of work at his site on Mutual Funds. Time spent there is of great value.

One last stop would be Jim Battaglia's "Invest In Best". I haven't spent much time there but I can tell that he puts a lot of time & thought into his program.

What do you think about jumping in the market right now using AIM, with a 50% cash position and 50% in

The amount of Cash reserve is a major key element. I missed the boat on this part right out of the gate. So I want to emphasize Tom's "Idiot Wave". It sets the beginning percentage for cash reserve on new entries. Notice that it is different for mutual's. Notice this week that it is 45% for stocks and 30% for growth mutual's.

Just my thoughts.

Hi,
I agree with Keith that UOPIX would be better than QQQ because of the increased volatility.
Even though it is a Mutual Fund use the IW recommendation for Cash reserve for a stock because of the volatility.
