Too bad about you local temperature. Down here at the Jersey shore it's one of the most perfect days in the history of weather: middle-high 70's, low breeze off the ocean, low humidity. And what's really great is that the biting flies are staying inland.

It's just about time to put the sun block on, so with your permission, a final thought.

Investing in a start-up is very similar to raising a child.
They are both cute when born, they put you through hell as teenagers, and then they make you cross your fingers when they graduate from school and enter the real world. Are they going to make it? Did we do the best we could as parents?

Will they ask for advice? Probably not as much as we would like.

As parents, we are stuck with them for life. As investors, we can sell them to an anonymous buyer. Other than that, the experiences are pretty much the same. Can you depend on them in your old age?
