The guy she uses as her lead example lives in Washington DC, and so I suppose his payment would be handled via oldNationsbank/ckfr. But I'm not sure.

And Augie is absolutely right -- if newBofA really DOES pay 71% electronically, and all those payments really ARE debited only a day or two early, then what's the problem? Or is that only for California payments handled by oldBofA? Not clear.

This story just doesn't make sense to me. But true or not, it's going to be a P.R. problem. If I were Pete I'd have the staff working on it RIGHT NOW. Sunday morning or no Sunday morning.
