Keith, When I first read your idea, my first thought was great idea! Then, I consider the following: 1) Those paying for lifetime memberships may not like their posting limited that much for the amount they pay. 2) If the three that had caused the problem earlier last week had been limited to 5 posts, their spamming might have been more effective. Only a fool spams 275 posts. I bet the stock price could have been affected much more with 15 carefully placed posts! Since some people sign up clearly for the purpose of spamming and have no intention of agreeing to the terms of use and since SI knows who these individuals are, I believe that the terms of use should be changed to allow SI to report them to the SEC and giving them the option of taking legal action against them is severe cases. I believe a few examples would discourage future activity of this nature. Just thinking out loud. Perhaps a dangerous think to do at times!
