No, not at all. I have not rebooted once due to instability problems. The only way of telling it is an Athlon is to check the system properties. So far system is very stable, more so than my tier one built PII. Granted though, I have not really pushed it or added demanding software yet.

Not much so far. I ran the CPU 99, Ziff Davis benchmark per Steve's suggestion, I got 58.something. I do FEA at home and that is the reason that I bought the system. This week I plan to install COSMOS and run some analysis. As far as running MS office and Internet stuff, not really a difference compare to my PII, just a bit faster but no biggie.
