Ted: <<Is YOUR absence due to stability problems?>>

Sort of:-)

Athlon's short term future, ironically, maybe in the hands of PLA - The People's Liberation Army.

There has been stability problem across Taiwan straight lately ever since Taiwan's president announced his "special state to state" relation with mainland China.

Mainland China is furious about such gesture from Taiwan for China always consider Taiwan part of China.

There are reports that PLA MIGHT initiate limited military actions against Taiwan, including blocking Taiwan - meaning nothing in and out to and from Taiwan.

Think about this: If such military action be launched (not to mention other huge ramifications), Athlon will be dead for there are no MOBO and chipsets coming out from Taiwan.

I am cautiously optimistic at this moment that China would refrain from attacking Taiwan in any military form or shape.
