Dan....when I did some research on Quigley years ago I recall something to the effect that zinc applied to the nasal cavity directly wasn't as effective as orally. I read that JnJ or others even researched it but found it wasn't effective. Have things changed???

Also, Quigley owns the patent rights to two patents to protect their lozenge and yet the drugstore shelves are littered with zinc lozenges. I had a fellow tell me that with homeopathic drugs it's real easy to walk around patents.

As far as nicotine gum goes I think I'll look into it. Everyone I know that's used it absolutely hated it and never went back for more.

he has yet to provide even one post that documents reasonable research

If by that you mean a three-page, four-yawn treatise like, well, the post I am replying to (hint: you've gone on too long if you feel the need to start your last paragraph with "in closing"), I must break the news to you that BW does not make postings in that style.

Oddly enough, though, his lack of rambling has not had a discernible negative impact on his short-selling record. ZITL, TAVA, CYBG, CCSI... the proponents on the long side of each of these stocks have out-talked by a vast margin those of us on the short side. Yet despite this apparently insurmountable handicap, the short side somehow prevailed on all of those stocks and many others.

Go figure.

Hey look, here's a GUMM thread!! Let's take it over and blather on and on about... oh, I don't know... ZONA??

That would be a good one!

Yup, ZONA was as good a bio-stock scam as you're likely to find, repleat with shills, shorts, and erections. Shot way up--the stock price, that is--and collapsed way down.

Shills gone, shorts rich,... next??

Anyone else want to discuss ZONA? How about any other topic completely unrelated to the thread??
