to; 2MAR$ FROM: truedog Mars,my,my, you are bitter aren't you?It brings to mind a question or two,intended to be decent inquiries and not prying, or an attempt at refuting you at this time. Were you hurt by some particular event under the name of Christianity, or Catholicism? You sometimes seem to zero in on the Catholic church. I am not a Catholic and will make no comments regarding that particular denomination. I follow the doctrines of no traditional denomination but do consider myself an independent Christian. I know the constitution doesn't say "Christian God" but,since it was the only God under consideration at the time, logic confirms that He was the God they were referring to. You mention your god and gods. It would help all of us to understand more about your position if we knew who these gods were. Surely they have some sort of names or descriptions that differ from the Christian God but we have no way of knowing anything about them. I can only presume that you are proud enough of them to name them so that we can be enlightened. There have been many instances where man's interpretation of the Christian God and Jesus has led to almost barbaristic acts and inexcusable death. That is what happens when man tries to decide what should be done instead of relying on God's messages in the Bible. All of the Christians I associate with do not presume to alter the word of God and go off on these sinful tangents. Please do not judge all Christians in this light. We feel as badly about such conduct as any freedom and peace loving individual anywhere.^ ^ ^TD
