Stan and thread, came across this on RMBS thread:

yahoo.cnet.com

A little chasm crossing going on there, imo.

Stan,

***Hope the thread doesn't mind my chipping in on Rambus stuff now and then. Not trying to make this a Rambus dominant thread. I want to contribute and this my way of doing so. ***

I appreciate your contributions very much. Do you think that maybe it's because I happen to feel the same as you [a gorilla in the making?] <g> Speaking of Rambus...is it discussed in the revised FM?
I have ordered it...but it hasn't arrived yet.

Glenda

But the real question relative to rambus is that regardless of whether it becomes a gorilla, is it today undervalued?

I refer back to my post

Message 11149826

In my opinion you can only answer yes if you believe that they at least:

1) will have very high Gross and Net Margins. (this is certainly possible with their business model. I've spent fruitless hours trying to find an analogous public company to serve as a gauge for a net margin estimate. I'm still trying.)

2)The market for memory will greatly exceed the projections and RMBS captures virtually all of it. (This is possible, but it is not realistic in my opinion. You can bet that even Intel wouldn't like to see this happen.)

As to gorilladom, I think they are teetering on the far edge of the chasm. But the question of value still exists for the long term.

Stan,

I love your posts about Rambus. Kepp 'em coming!

Now that I'm convinced DRDRAM isn't a typo, what is the first D?
