Gregg: I can see the "very good reasons" from the BANK'S point of view and THEIR "bottom line," but from MY customer's point of view I cannot agree with you.

"real-time account balances" -- Nope. You get PROJECTED account balances, which are NOT accurate because they fail to account for paycheck deposits (which in the case of me and my wife, are direct deposits and therefore regular as clockwork.)

"lead to lower costs" -- Great for banks, but I have no faith any of this will be passed on to customers. In fact, I am sure based on experience that they will not.

"better service" -- This is WORSE service by definition.

I agree with Bit: using "good funds" is just hosing CKFR's good product, another example of banks seeing customers as a captive group to be exploited and squeezed, rather than served and attracted.
